Most websites make proper use of this incredible tool by including keywords frequently in updated articles or blog posts. That way, the keywords stay relevant to the specifics of what people are searching, all while also retaining clicks from targeted audiences.

Optimizing your SEO content is the most efficient way to gain views. In order to enhance user experience, you have to first abide by what Google follows when it comes to the quality of content that includes keywords. This means that whatever you put out there, it has to be high-quality content that many users engage with. 

You might be wondering why exactly Google promotes such quality content, it’s simple, and it is to provide users with the best information about their queries. So, providing that quality will help your website rank higher in Google’s search engine. 

3.Voice search optimization: 

The current statistics show that about 25% of US adults now own a smart speaker (the number is expected to rise to 55% in 2022). What this means is that more and more people will want to search for things on Google using the voice search option. 

It is a no-brainer that there are stark differences in voice searches compared to text, so your SEO strategy should definitely take that factor into account. Another key element to voice search stats reveals that most of the searches are local. So, optimizing your SEO strategy to concur with these stats will only further enhance the quality of your site and have it higher on Google’s ranks. 

4.Mobile-first design: 

A very revealing stat shows that over 50% of searches on the internet are done through a smartphone, so it is arguably better to optimize your SEO strategy around phone searches than voice searches. Another reason to focus on phones is that Google announced in March 2020 that they will now primarily use smartphone user agents to crawl websites. 

5.Topic clusters are better than keywords:

 I’m sure you have heard of the featured snippet box that google has added to their engine. Their thinking behind that is to provide users with results they intend to see, and that will help answer their query rather than just keywords. 

With this new feature, you should now focus on the context around the keywords, too, rather than just the keywords. What this is called in technical terms is ‘user-intent.’  

6.Longer content for better ranking: 

A study done by Backlinko concluded that longer content tends to collect more backlinks, which inevitably means that it helps rank such websites higher and generates more traffic. Remember that writing 2000+ words for every blog post can be tiresome and time-consuming. 

However, not all content needs to be long; remember the concept of user intent. Sometimes very few individuals tend to search for queries that require 2000+ word dissertations; instead, they might simply just need a few words or sentences. 

7.YouTube SEO: 

Do not forget that YouTube is a part of Google. It is only the most popular video site with 2 billion monthly users and 1 billion hour video views a day. Sure, video marketing is not for everyone, but now more than ever is the perfect time to put those fancy cameras to work.
